Selden System 42 High Beam Track

The Selden System 42 High Beam Track is a reinforced aluminium track designed for maximum strength and stiffness in high-load sail control systems on large sailing yachts.

Unlike standard tracks, the High Beam version features a significantly increased profile height, providing superior rigidity and reduced flex under extreme loads. This makes it especially suitable for unsupported mainsheet traveller installations, where the track is only fixed at the ends and must carry the full load without intermediate support.

The track is manufactured from black hard anodised aluminium, ensuring excellent resistance to corrosion, wear and harsh marine conditions. Its precision profile allows smooth and controlled movement of traveller cars, even under very high loads.

With a robust base width of approximately 58 mm and a height of around 85 mm, this track is engineered for maximum load capacity and durability.

System 42 is typically used on yachts up to approximately 65 feet, making this track ideal for demanding cruising and performance applications where structural strength is critical.
