Marine batteries

Marine batteries are specially designed batteries used to store electrical energy on boats. Unlike automotive batteries, they are built to handle deep discharge cycles, vibration and continuous onboard use.

Power your boat using our range of reliable and efficient marine batteries. With trusted brands like Victron, Mastervolt, and Sunbeam, you can count on dependable power and long-lasting performance on every voyage. Designed for demanding onboard systems, our batteries provide consistent energy for navigation, lighting, and comfort whether you’re anchored or offshore.

Which battery types are available?

  • AGM: Maintenance-free, vibration-resistant, and ideal for starting and service power.
  • Gel: Excellent deep-cycle performance with long lifespan and low self-discharge.
  • Lithium (LiFePO₄): Lightweight, high-capacity batteries with fast charging and maximum efficiency for advanced systems.
  • Lead-acid: Traditional battery technology that is cost-effective and widely compatible, typically used for starter applications

What voltages are available?

Most marine batteries are available in 12V (most common on boats) and 24V (larger systems or combined battery banks).

Always match battery voltage to the onboard electrical system.

What does battery capacity mean?

Battery capacity is expressed in amp-hours (Ah) and indicates how much energy a battery can store. A higher Ah rating means the battery can supply power for a longer period before recharging is required.

How long does a marine battery last?

Battery lifespan depends on type and usage:

  • Lead-acid / AGM / Gel: typically 3–7 years
  • Lithium batteries: often 8–15 years

Correct charging, depth of discharge and temperature control strongly influence lifespan.
