Selden Rodkicker 30S/2200 – No Gas Spring

The Selden Rodkicker Type 30S – Minimum Length 2200 mm (No Gas Spring) is a robust rigid boom vang engineered for yachts with higher displacement and larger rig sizes. It helps support the boom when reefing, preventing it from dropping into the cockpit or onto the coach roof, and doubles the purchase of your kicking strap when reeving lines back to the cockpit.

This version does not include a gas spring, offering a solid vang solution that can later be upgraded with a spring kit if needed. When fitted with a Selden gas spring, the Rodkicker can lift the boom automatically when the kicking strap is eased — ideal for trimming the mainsail in light wind conditions.
