Selden 60mm Manual Ratchet Block – Single Swivel

The Selden 406-350-01 R60 Manual Ratchet Block is designed for sailors who want full control over when the ratchet function is engaged. Unlike automatic ratchet blocks, this model allows you to manually switch between free-running and ratchet mode using a side-mounted switch.

When the ratchet is activated, the sheave locks in one direction, providing increased grip and holding power on the line. This reduces the physical effort required when trimming under load, allowing the sailor to maintain control without immediately cleating the sheet.

The block is equipped with Delrin ball bearings and a composite sheave, ensuring smooth rotation and efficient performance when running freely. The swivel head allows optimal alignment, improving rope handling in dynamic trimming systems.
