Selden PBB100 Single Block with Becket 100 mm – Plain Bearing

The Selden PBB100 single block with becket (410-001-02) is engineered for extreme load applications where both strength and mechanical advantage are required. The integrated becket allows efficient 3:1 tackle configurations, making this block ideal for high-load mainsheet, halyard and control systems on larger yachts.

As the largest model in the Selden plain bearing block range, the PBB100 is specifically designed for heavy-duty and professional rigging setups. It combines high load capacity with controlled trimming performance, making it suitable for both cruising and performance sailing.

The block features a machined, black anodised aluminium sheave with a polymer bushing and two axial Delrin® bearings. These stabilise the sheave when the line runs at an angle, ensuring smooth operation even under extreme loads.

The construction includes anodised aluminium cheeks and stainless steel load components, with insulation between materials to prevent corrosion and extend service life. A set screw locking system allows the swivel to be fixed for precise alignment in complex installations.

With a safe working load of 4000 kg and a breaking load of 8000 kg, this block is built for the most demanding sailing conditions.
