Selden Rodkicker 05 (1150 mm) – Gas Spring 700 N

The Selden Rodkicker Type 05S (1150 mm) is a rigid boom vang with a 700 N gas spring included, engineered to make sail handling easier and safer. The gas spring automatically lifts the boom when the kicking strap is released, opening the leech and improving mainsail trim in light wind. By replacing the need for a topping lift, reefing becomes faster and more controlled.

This model is recommended for masthead-rigged yachts with a displacement up to 3.9 tonnes and fractional-rigged yachts up to 2.5 tonnes. The Rodkicker also prevents the boom from dropping into the cockpit or onto the coachroof during sail handling and doubles the purchase of your kicking strap (kicking strap not included).
