The Selden RBB80 Soft Attachment Block (408-201-32) is a high-performance single block developed for modern rigging systems using soft attachments. Instead of a traditional shackle, this block is mounted with a Dyneema lashing or soft shackle, offering a lightweight, silent, and highly flexible installation.

Designed for high and dynamic loads, the block features an 80 mm sheave combined with Torlon® roller bearings, delivering extremely low friction even under heavy tension. This ensures smooth trimming, efficient load transfer, and precise control during sailing.

The soft attachment system allows secure mounting on padeyes, straps, or other flexible fixing points, reducing metal-to-metal contact, eliminating noise, and improving reliability under load.

Constructed from precision-machined, black anodised aluminium with polymer insulation, the block offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in marine environments.
