The Selden RBB130 Soft Attachment Block (413-201-32) is a high-performance single block developed for extreme load applications and modern soft-attachment rigging systems.
Instead of a traditional shackle, this block is mounted using a Dyneema lashing or soft shackle. This provides a lightweight, silent, and secure connection without metal-to-metal contact, reducing noise and eliminating the risk of loosening under load.
With its large 130 mm sheave and Torlon® roller bearings, the block delivers exceptionally low friction even under very high dynamic loads. This ensures smooth trimming, efficient load transfer, and precise control in demanding sailing conditions.
Polymer thrust bearings stabilise the sheave under side loads, while the machined black anodised aluminium construction ensures high strength and corrosion resistance. Insulating components prevent galvanic corrosion, extending service life in harsh marine environments.
