It features an anodised aluminium body running on Torlon® ball bearings and multiple sheaves arranged to achieve a 7:1 mechanical advantage for the genoa control line, giving strong trimming power at the crew station. The integrated becket provides a secure anchor point for the control line, keeping lead tidy and efficient.

With a safe working load of 1500 kg and breaking load of 3000 kg, this car supports demanding sailing conditions. Torlon ball bearings stabilise the sheaves under side loads for consistent performance, and the design fits seamlessly into the System 30 Performance range for yachts up to ~45 ft.
