Selden BBB40 Through-Deck Ball Bearing Block – 40 mm

The Selden BBB40 through-deck ball bearing block is designed for flush installation in decks or cockpit surfaces where a clean layout and minimal obstruction are essential. This block is mounted directly into the deck, allowing control lines to run smoothly through the surface without additional hardware above deck level.

The 40 mm sheave runs on stainless steel ball bearings, ensuring smooth rotation and minimal friction even under dynamic loads. This improves efficiency and reduces wear on ropes in frequently used control systems.

The through-deck design keeps the deck clear and safe by eliminating protruding fittings, making it ideal for modern cockpit layouts and racing setups where space and safety are critical.

Constructed from glass fibre reinforced composite with an acetal bearing cage, the block offers high strength, low weight and long-term durability in demanding marine environments.
