Selden Anti-Twist Shackle for CX25 & GX25 – Halyard Twist Prevention Accessory

This anti-twist shackle is an optional spare part designed for the Selden CX25 and GX25 downwind furling systems. It connects the halyard to the halyard swivel using a longer shackle pin that rests against the mast, helping to prevent a “soft” halyard from twisting during hoisting, furling and sailing.

The shackle is made from marine-grade stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. While this accessory enhances halyard management and reduces the risk of halyard tangling and wear, it is not necessary if you are using a 2:1 halyard setup or a high-quality Dyneema® halyard, which are less prone to twist.
