The Selden Aluminium Valley Open Cleat is a simple yet robust solution for line control on dinghies, small keelboats and performance craft. Crafted from marine-grade aluminium, it’s built to handle lines with excellent durability even under higher loads — and the aluminium body helps reduce rope wear and prevent rope burn during frequent adjustments.

The open cleat profile allows the rope to drop easily into the cleat’s teeth, giving a positive lock that can be quickly released when needed. For improved rope alignment and comfort at non-standard angles, pair with an optional tapered pad (sold separately). This versatile cleat fits both flat and curved surfaces and mounts easily using rivets, countersunk screws or bolts (fasteners not included).
