Selden 60mm Manual Ratchet Block R60+ – Single Swivel

The Selden 406-360-01 R60+ Manual Ratchet Block is an upgraded version of the standard R60 series, developed to provide improved grip, smoother control and enhanced durability in dynamic trimming applications.

Designed for use on dinghies and performance sailboats, this single swivel block allows the sailor to manually switch between free-running and ratchet mode. When the ratchet is engaged, the sheave locks in one direction, reducing effort and allowing better control of loaded sheets without immediately cleating the line.

Compared to the standard R60, the R60+ version offers enhanced holding power and improved efficiency, making it particularly suitable for higher loads or more demanding trimming conditions.

The block features Delrin ball bearings and a lightweight composite or aluminium sheave, ensuring smooth rotation in free-running mode and strong grip when the ratchet is activated. The swivel head allows optimal alignment and efficient rope handling in dynamic systems.
