Selden 130mm High Load Plain Bearing Block – Wire / Dyneema

The Selden 413-101-01 High Load Plain Bearing Block is the largest and strongest model in the Selden High Load plain bearing series, engineered for extreme load applications on large yachts and demanding rigging systems.

With a 130 mm sheave, this block is specifically designed for backstay systems and standing rigging where loads are continuously high and movement is limited. The plain bearing system ensures maximum durability and reliability under constant tension, outperforming ball bearing systems in static load conditions.

The block features electro-polished stainless steel side plates combined with a machined anodised aluminium sheave and polymer bearing bushing. The V-shaped sheave is optimized for wire and Dyneema/Spectra core lines, ensuring proper alignment and minimizing wear under extreme loads.

With a safe working load of 5500 kg and a breaking load of 11000 kg, this block is suitable for the most demanding applications, including primary backstay cascades and high-load rigging systems.
