The Scout KS-42 VHF Marine Antenna is designed for medium and large boats needing dependable VHF communication at sea. Its 2.4 m fiberglass whip is fully foam-injected using Scout’s 100 % waterproof technique, offering IP69 protection against water and UV-resistant high-gloss finish for long service life in marine conditions.
Operating across the standard marine VHF frequency band (156–162 MHz), the Scout KS-42 delivers a strong 6 dB gain and supports up to 50 W of input power for clear transmission and reception. Supplied with a 5 m RG-58 CU MIL cable and PL-259 connector, this antenna installs easily on a 1″ x 14 threaded mount and ensures reliable contact with shore stations and other vessels.
