Details
The Scout KS-121 SAR Antenna 1.5 m – 121.5 MHz is engineered to support maritime safety by reliably capturing emergency beacon transmissions used in distress situations. It operates specifically on the 121.5 MHz SAR band, commonly used for emergency position indicating radio beacons (EPIRB), personal locator beacons (PLB) and other search-and-rescue signals.
Made from robust fiberglass with an anti-UV high-gloss finish and waterproof design, this antenna withstands harsh marine environments and retains its appearance over time. It delivers approximately 3 dB gain, a 50 Ω impedance and supports up to 50 W input power for dependable reception performance. A standard 1″ × 14 mount and included RG-58 CU MIL coax cable make installation straightforward on boats, lifeboats or SAR vessels.
Whether installed on navigation receivers, emergency antennas or integrated into safety systems at sea, the Scout KS-121 SAR Antenna helps ensure crucial distress signals are captured clearly and reliably when every moment counts.
