Power isolator NMEA2000

The Wema NMEA2000 Power isolator is essential for a proper installation of the NMEA2000 network by separating different power sources. The Power isolator ensures that the voltage from, for example, the motor and the battery is kept separate.

Without a Power Isolator there is a risk of draining the starter batteries through the NMEA2000 network, or the NMEA2000 network may shut down when the engine is turned off.

The power isolator is installed between the T-connectors to isolate one side of the backbone from the other.
