The robust AISI316 stainless steel clamp mount is ideal for tube applications with a round or square profile, allowing for easy sound orientation and quick removal of the tower speaker. This is made possible by Q-OS² (Quick Orientation & Release for Sound & Safety) patented technology. The adjustable logo allows for various placements without affecting the correct orientation of the Hertz logo. The front and back logos can be oriented in 64 steps. The back logo can be customized with an optional LED-lit logo. With the optional HERTZ RGB remote, the RGB lighting syncs to the music. The Hertz-developed coaxial speaker is optimized for solid bass and excellent output. The tweeter—for midrange and high frequencies—has an acoustic lens that projects the sound wide rather than narrowly, resulting in the best sound on an open boat, for example, where sitting directly in the center of the speaker is not essential for optimal sound. The speaker's construction maximizes SPL (Sound Pressure Level). The UV-resistant polypropylene woofer is surrounded by a Santoprene rubber surround, and the connection from the woofer to the speaker is made of strong, flexible aramid fibers. The powerful neodymium magnet optimally moves the speaker, allowing the woofer to achieve the correct amount of travel for the bass frequencies. The speaker's sealed enclosure and grille are made of UV-resistant polymer and are resistant to water, dust, and dirt.
