A stretch-free line for a low price.
Line without a jacket is increasingly used in water sports. You can make anything with it; backstays, hold-downs, delays, but also soft shackles are easy to make.
This 12-braided HMPE line has a beautiful PU coating. The Challenger line is super strong with minimal stretch and competitively priced.
4 diameters are launched; 3, 4, 5 and 6mm.
About HMPE:
HMPE stands for High-Modulus Polyethylene. This is actually a general term for materials such as Dyneema and Spectra.
Where Dyneema is a brand name of DSM and Spectra is a brand name of Honeywell, HMPE is also made by other manufacturers (mainly in the Far East) under the generic name HMPE.
HMPE is therefore equivalent in structure to Dyneema and Spectra, but for a lower price.
HMPE has been used in commercial shipping for a while and now it is sufficiently developed to also be used for water sports lines.
