With a blank Navionics+ chart, you have free choice of cruising area. 

When purchasing, choose from a LARGE = large coverage area, or a REGULAR = more localised area. Exactly the same map details only the area size is different.

First check the online Navionics Compatibility Guide to see if the chartplotter can work with Navionics+.

After purchasing the Navionics+ map, load the map area of your choice via computer.

1. Go to navionics.com

2. Insert the Navionics+ card into the computer/card reader

3. Follow the steps indicated in the programme

All steps to be taken for the download are clearly indicated.

- First, the NEW Navionics customer will have to log in/register.

- Secondly, the NEW Navionics customer will have to specify the chartplotter in which the Navionics+ chart will work. The website will show which functions do and do not work on the specified chartplotter. This way, no unnecessary data will be downloaded.

- The third step is for the NEW Navionics customer to choose the REGULAR or LARGE area whose maps they wish to use/download. After choosing the area, the NEW Navionics+ customer cannot undo his choice.
