The SKYWATCH Eole 1 Anemometer(JDC SWE1) is a new hand held anemometer from JDC Electronic that measures Windspeed.
 
Intended for both professional and consumer use, the SKYWATCH Eole 1 Anemometer is packed with features essential for monitoring the environment. This pocket sized wind speed meter gives you a choice of 3 wind speed measurement modes: current wind speed, average wind speed for the last 3seconds / 24 hours, and maximum wind speed. The Eole uses a cup type impeller, which is considered to be more accurate than propeller type anemometers in shifting winds
 
Simple to use this handheld anemometer does not include complicated and seldom-used features such as downloading and storing. Press one button for instant readings are at your fingertips, Current wind speed is calculated every second, and an average is calculated every 3 seconds. You can select km/h, mph, knots, m/s, or fps as the digital (numeric) wind speed readout on the large LCD panel. In addition to the digital readout, the LCD panel also displays a Beaufort scale bar graph whose reading corresponds to the digital readout.
 
This Wind Speed Meter is not only compact and lightweight but also tough and is simple and quick to use, just hold it up in the wind towards any direction to get the instant windspeed. Furthermore, it's waterproof and floats, making the Eole 1 ideal for marine uses and watersports.). A sturdy removable cap protects the impeller when the meter is not being used.
